The Health, United States, 2019 Chartbook contains 20
figures and associated data tables on health and health care
in the United States. Examining trends in health informs the

infant mortality, selected causes of death, drug overdose
deaths, suicide, maternal mortality, teen births, preterm
singleton births, use of tobacco products, current asthma
among children, hypertension, heart disease and cancer,

and physicians. The fourth section (Figures 18–20) describes
